1. Who we are

We're Fluent AI, an AI consultancy based in South East England, UK. We help small and medium-sized businesses get practical value from artificial intelligence — without the hype or jargon.

2. What data we collect

We only collect information you give us directly through forms on our website. Here's what each form asks for:

• Contact form (homepage) — your name, email address, business name, and your message
• AI Audit questionnaire — your name, email address, business name, industry, team size, plus your answers to questions about current tools, AI usage, budget, and priorities
• Call request form — your name, email address, business name, industry, and your AI readiness score

We don't collect any data automatically in the background. There are no tracking scripts, no analytics tools, and no hidden data collection.

3. How we use your data

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiry or message
• Deliver your personalised AI audit results
• Follow up on call requests you've submitted
• Improve our services based on general trends (never shared individually)

We won't send you marketing emails unless you've asked us to. We'll never sell your data to anyone. Full stop.

4. How we store your data

Form submissions are handled by Netlify Forms, which is the hosting platform our website runs on. Netlify stores this data on servers in the EU and/or US. You can read more about their security practices on the Netlify privacy page.

We don't use a separate database. Your submissions sit in the Netlify dashboard and are retained until we manually delete them. We don't keep data longer than we need to.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — ask us what data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to fix any inaccurate information
• Deletion — ask us to delete your data entirely
• Restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data
• Object — tell us to stop using your data for a specific purpose
• Data portability — request a copy of your data in a standard format

If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

6. Cookies

We keep things simple. Our website only uses essential cookies required for the site to function properly (set by our hosting provider, Netlify). These are basic technical cookies — nothing that tracks you across the web.

We don't use any advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Third-party services

Our website relies on a small number of third-party services:

• Netlify — hosts our website and processes form submissions. Netlify's privacy policy
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on our site. Google may collect basic technical data (such as your IP address) when loading fonts. Google's privacy policy

We don't use any other analytics, advertising, or social media tracking services.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. We'd encourage you to check back occasionally.
